Make a battery using soil

How synthesised soil(with chemicals) & different types of soil the making of a battery cell

Issue: abudancy of nickel-main element of the battery. 

Synthesis soil with chemicals, so a plant can grow with less amount of water because kodaikanal has water shortages.

Here's my Idea

Synthesize Compost and add it to soil.

Plant mustard seeds in regular soil and the composted soil and make observations.

Different ratios of soil and compost can be used.
